thank you for that information.Originally posted by □:So that means even if I start a new game plus with ALL of the spells unlocked, I can still do the quests and finish the game by just letting my companions get their Gifts for magic, then after the showdown with Rogue I'll be back up to 100% gift mastery? If you like to totally min/max a party NG+ will allow you that luxury the original release did not. Or each time you do a scenario collect a dragon shield from Biolab instead of having to farm dragons for a low chance outside of the one you get in that chest. For example you could get as many Golden Lion swords you'd like by constantly NG+ running Asellus' story. The major benefit is you not having to star 100% from scratch every single time as well as allowing you to keep items that are otherwise locked to a scenario. The major benefit is you not having to start 100% from scratch every single time as well as allowing you to keep items that are otherwise locked to a scenario. You can carry over character skills to make DSC easier to master for example. Just check which box you'd like to carry over and move on. You can carry over other things like skills specifically, mystic absorbs, credits, items. You can use NG+ as it offers a variety of things. So is it safe to assume to not do New Game+ if you don't plan on also transferring character skills and abilities? Also what's the major point/benefit to new game+? I started to carry over battle rank after trained most of the characters. For example, it's an instant suicide if you start Emelia's scenario with BR9 when you haven't trained in previous scenario. I just make a habit of it to not use the OP characters until the final chapter to grind and finish the story, and I only gather two sets of the best armor, one for the Protag in that quest, and for one supporting character to slowly distribute gear. It also makes grinding a lot easier to achieve that as instead of having to grind stats from scratch every single time, you just bring along the super powered characters you want as your end game team and help grind them to max a bit faster. Using it this way helps reduce grinding for dragon shields and allows multiple of items to help round out your team to build the ultimate lay out for the super boss. I grind out enough credits usually by time I do this to buy the best armor I can afford two sets, plus farm 4x windshell before I move on to the final boss. At that point I have less grinding to do as they essentially carry the Protag in the Biolabs while making themselves stronger. Otherwise I leave them there until I am at the final mission for the scenario. It's nice if I run into a moment like the arcane rune quest in the Swamp and I need a beatdown party. Gen for example being usable by everyone (Rouge mostly in the same boat) I just recruit them, outfit them in the best of the best and put them in the third group. Whenever I do a new scenario this actually encourages me to use other party members. I like it as it allows me to optimize the ultimate team. Maybe you'd like to consider using it as I have.
